I'm a married mother of 4, step to 2... In comparison to my family, weight wise I am doing pretty good. Most of the women in my family were much heavier than I am at my age. BUT.... I am not happy with where I am. People always said that once you get over 35 it's harder to lose and keep the weight off. Man they weren't kidding! I belong to a swim and fitness club, but with life, I haven't had time to go in two months. Every time I think I am going to make it to the gym at the beginning of the day, I look at my calendar and realize that I don't have time... Ugh! So with that said, it is my desire to eat healthier and try to get to the gym 3 days a week. I want to be in better shape come summer. Isn't that every woman's desire?

How many times to eat a day
I find if I add protein to my meals I stay full longer. For example, a poached or boiled egg in the AM with a piece of toast. Lunch I do tuna, or white turkey breast lunch meat. Yesterday I had three romaine lettuce wraps. I split two Kirkland white turkey breast lunch meat between the three, used 2tbs of hummus as the spread and added sprouts. I also ate some mini carrots with it. I stayed full for a while. Don't forget that if you want a snack, Orville Redenbacker's smart pop is a good choice. Once popped it is only 15 cals a cup.
