It's been a while since I wrote a journal. I was hoping to write more but don't seem to have the time. Just got back from a great vacation at the beach. I didn't bring any cookies or candy or any bad snacks so I did very well until Wednesday. It was my anniversary and my husband bought me chocolate. I do love chocolate but can not resist eating it if it's around. I don't know why he always buys chocolate when he knows I'm trying to be healthy with my snacks. I still did pretty well considering I was vacationing, didn't gain any weight. Work has been busy and being away for a week I know I will go back to a lot of work to do. Makes the day go fast so that's ok. I have managed to find a schedule of eating that seems to be working for me. I try to find the time to have a snack in the afternoon so I'm not so hungry when I get home and that seems to help the snacking. Also if there aren't any cookies I can't eat them!! So healthy snacks in the cabinet and refrigerator and that is helping too. Hope everyone is enjoying their day.

Have been crazy busy lately. The new job is going well but is quite the change from owning my own shop. All in all it was a decision that needed to be made so I won't dwell on that. Food wise I have been doing pretty good. With the warmer weather I eat more fruit and fresh vegetables for some reason. I really like salad and it tastes so much better when it's not so cold out! My eating habits had to change when I started the different job and I have finally adjusted to my new eating pattern and find I'm not so hungry all the time. I guess my body just needed a few months to get used to everything. I have been going to the gym and working out in the yard so I feel like I'm getting more exercise and eating better so all is good. I always feel better when it starts to warm up and this winter was particularly cold and long so I am really enjoying this warmer weather. Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weekend!
