ATF has not been good lately. I find myself falling into bad snacking habits. (Of course it doesn't help that I have a lot of leftover Halloween candy in the house too!) I know it has something to do with my work schedule and the stress of feeling like I never have enough time to get things done. I know the stress will only get worse with the holidays coming up and it seems like my weekends are always crazy errands squeezed in around some family function. I start my 3 month training sessions tomorrow after work which has me stressing because it's also election day and I'm having trouble finding a time slot to squeeze it all in!. I'm hoping to go vote after training with the hope it won't be too busy at the end of the evening. I think the unusual cold weather has got me wanting to curl up on the couch with a blanket. It actually snowed yesterday! It didn't stick to the roads but we had about a half inch to an inch or so. I have been trying to mow the lawn and rake the leaves for two weeks but we have had so much rain I haven't had a chance to get it done. With the clocks getting turned back last weekend it's too dark when I get home from work so I'll have to try to get that done this weekend too. I'm hoping the training sessions get me motivated. It's always good to have someone else's point of view on training and I think I need to switch up what I'm doing. Here's to a great November!!

It's been a while since I wrote a journal. I was hoping to write more but don't seem to have the time. Just got back from a great vacation at the beach. I didn't bring any cookies or candy or any bad snacks so I did very well until Wednesday. It was my anniversary and my husband bought me chocolate. I do love chocolate but can not resist eating it if it's around. I don't know why he always buys chocolate when he knows I'm trying to be healthy with my snacks. I still did pretty well considering I was vacationing, didn't gain any weight. Work has been busy and being away for a week I know I will go back to a lot of work to do. Makes the day go fast so that's ok. I have managed to find a schedule of eating that seems to be working for me. I try to find the time to have a snack in the afternoon so I'm not so hungry when I get home and that seems to help the snacking. Also if there aren't any cookies I can't eat them!! So healthy snacks in the cabinet and refrigerator and that is helping too. Hope everyone is enjoying their day.
