I am near goal and trying to come back down just 10 more... but holding for the most part...I do not give in I only eat my Low Carb... I am on Vacation right now so not sure how things are going..... But I CAN SAY IT IS WORTH IT TO STAY ON COARSE..

Butter substitute
i only use bacon grease and coconut oil.........have for a long time now.... both good stuff..........and i agree on the canola .........take care

making progress!
doing good but i can tell you after years of doing low carb high fat... i would not have time to count the calories... i only count the carbs ... and stay about 25 a day... good luck......

there is no sub for.... BUTTER........nothing... love it and enjoy it and all my blood numbers have come down to where they belong......thank goodness...

folks get a Dr Atkins book.. no matter how old it is. he was one very smart man.. . and read how low carb changes our body.. there is no ..secret.. just fill up on low carb foods and tell yourself .. that reg food is killin' ya.. and slowly cook for you and put it on the table and everyone can eat or not..breakfast.. bacon, eggs sausage.. l.c. pancakes make egg muffins.. fast and easy and ready to grab going out.......lunch.. this is hard for me.. but egg salad.. tuna salad.. 1-2 carb turkey meat some cheese rolled up .. ...supper.. some kind of meat... and a lot of it.. 1-2 veggies you can have.. and a salad.. fill up.. drink drink that water...flush out them carbs... watch the pkgs of sweetner.. each one has 2 carbs.1 cup of the powdered has...24 carbs per cup...they do not tell us this one... had to learn it all on my own.. sure glad i did...... use a liquid 0 carbs 2 drops is a pkg... order on line.. seems high dollar but really not as it lasts for ever..
