Kinda new.. well not to FS but to Forums & Challenges.. help please?!
I spent the summer having tests and treatment and had been unable to walk upstairs for some months. I still have probs going down due to pain in thigh. i joined local swimming bath and try to go 2/3 times a week. lots of jumping and running on the spot and a little crawl leg kick. after 6 weeks i can manage stairs easily and it helps lose weight. the water takes the stress so you don't have to push yourself and can gradually work up.

Raised Cholesterol
My cholesterol has rocketed in the past 6 mnths. Dr. thinks probably due to drug which can't be changed. Hoping that losing weight and getting fitter will help. She has also suggested I eat more oily fish. I have porridge every morning and Wheat germ 2x a day and blueberries daily. Any other suggestions to help lower it?Question Wink

Swimming workouts
I use swimming pool for aerobic style exercise to strengthen my leg muscles and exercise as am unable to do weight baring exercise on land. have now been challenged by Doc, to lose 6lb by Christmas.
