Total Newbie - Is my menu really screwed up?
Thanks for all the good advice. I'm really glad I found this site now that I'm actually set on losing my fat *ss and get back to taking control of my food instead of it taking control of me.

WOW! I just started my change in habits today. YOU ROCK! I'm 250 and am going to get down to 180 by Christmas.

Way To Go!!! I just did my first miles this morning (only 3) but beginning tomorrow I'll be doing 3 in AM & 3 in PM. Thanks for the great motivation!

Total Newbie - Is my menu really screwed up?
Sorry... been sitting on my butt for 20 years and well... Okay. My typical day before today was balogna sandwhiches, about 1- 1&1/2 2 litres of Dr Pepper a day. Maybe even McD's for lunch. (with almost no activity)
But I've posted a link to my new eating habits (I don't want to call it a diet). I'm 250# now and I'm below my RDI. I did walk 3 miles today and I'm going to start doing it each weekday morning and evening. I'll just have to mod my schedule a bit.
