Not sure why I can't seem to drop below 172, but I'm going to keep tracking and exercising. Something has got to give. I've been feeling really good about my food choices and not feeling guilty when I want a treat since I track it and incorporate the calories into my total daily intake. I can do this.
Goal is to run 5 times this week and walk with family at least 4 times. I will also track everything I eat and drink at least 80 ounces of water every day. My goal is to lose 1 pound.

I felt like I did really well this past week with exercise (even though it was like 115 degrees all last week!) and tracking my food, but the scale went up. I did get my period the other day, though, so I'm wondering if that is doing anything to the scale for this weigh-in. Or is that just an excuse?
I'll just keep on staying active and tracking everything I eat. Tracking is definitely helping me make better decisions at the end of the day since I think about and can see my calories in vs calories out each day.
My goal this week is to lose 1 pound by running 4 times, getting out to walk or ride bikes with my family and tracking all my food choices. I can do it!!

I was so excited to weigh in this AM. I'm taking this day by day with a weekly goal to lose 1 pound. So far so good. I haven't felt deprived of anything, I'm just trying to learn how to fit it in correctly. I can do this.
Week 3 Goal: I will track everything I eat using Fat Secret this week. I will exercise and stay active by running 3x with my running buddy and then by myself 2x this week. I will do all this with the goal to lose 1 pound by Aug 6.

Valuable lesson of the day = Do NOT buy a container of Blue Diamond Almonds BOLD with wasabi and soy sauce flavoring. I have eaten all 6 ounces of nuts. So good, but I had no self-control over the serving size once the container was opened. I've logged it and used it as lunch, but still 6 oz of almonds!! That'll teach me not to do errand to the drugstore over lunch hour. Lesson learned. 100 calorie pack is the way to go.
And another valuable lesson of the day = Drink MORE water!! When in doubt I should be grabbing my water instead of the snacks.
