Turned 57 this year and now want to get this under control for health reasons! I am a church administrator and spiritual director. My weight has fluctuated a lot during the course of my life, and seems to always rush up to just under 250lbs. It's time to bring down 100 lbs. and I look forward to doing it with this community!

Hi Ro,
I am not on keto, and am apparently in the minority of folks who hope to stay that way, but wish you much luck going forward. We are about the same starting and goal weight, with very similar histories. I started just over a week ago and have lost 5 lbs. by eating as healthy as I can given the circumstances of each day! May I ask how your fatty liver disease was diagnosed? Did you have symptoms, etc.? Best of luck for a healthy new eating plan!

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I often wonder about this. I usually weigh-in on Friday mornings only, but obvious, water weight and other factors can shift and sometimes that reading isn't representative of the actual weekly weight loss. Then again, is a daily weigh-in a good idea? Hmm...
