Always been a big girl, decided its time to get serious (if I don't trim down I'll only get bigger, and not be able to have children). Bought scales (which I used to say was "against me religion") to keep track of the kilos, but also need to keep up the sensible eating and plenty of exercise. I know there's no point starting any dramatic plans that I won't stick to, but I have broken my boredom-eating and religiously-finishing-my-plate habits and am starting to enjoy my walks/jogs (shock-horror!) and bought an excercise bike. Hopefully I will be able to keep this up for the rest of my life!

Help! i need to find a good way to get some excercise in
Do you work/study in a neighbourhood that is more walker/jogger/runner friendly? If so you could excercise before or after work or class.

Otherwise maybe find a friend to go with for protection?

Relationships and weight
I've found the same thing as biblioholic03 - my partner and I have been together 2 1/2 years and living together for just over a year and although we both have always been cuddly we have packed it on since being together.

Now he is helping me stay motivated to exercise and I am encouraging him to eat better and we shall become slim and sexy(er) together!

For the OP, my mother (who after having the two of us and being married now for 25 years is quite cuddly) never has any problem giving my dad a much larger meal than she gives herself (she eats off a bread & butter plate) - if you want a taste of the potato/pasta you make for your man, make sure it is just a taste, but then also you won't feel as deprived.
