Exercise Diary HELP PLEASE
Thanks for the replies guys. What I really want to know is can you actually be in the negative calorie count for the day? I just want to understand the concept of this calorie game. We all know healthy eating, lower calorie intake, and exercise is the key to success. But, what about negative calorie counts? Also 3500 calls for 1 pound... So does this mean I have to be -3500 cals to lose the lb?

Exercise Diary HELP PLEASE
I started using this app today and I do love the simplicity and depth it contains. But, what I don’t understand is the exercise diary. I myself am on a 1500 calorie diet but when I enter all exercises, work, sleep, ect its shows that I am -2000+ cals for the day when I do the math. Now I am no nutritionist or health expert but how can this be legit? I burn about 500-700 calories in the gym but I just don't buy desk work 1200 calorie loss for 8 hrs? I am hoping a health expert can shine some light on this issue. I just don’t think all this adds up. Here is my chart for today so far

Calorie Intake So Far +830 kcal
Desk work 8hrs -1200 kcal
Resting 7.5hrs -750 kcal
Sleeping 7 hrs -630 kcal
Driving 1 hr -160 kcal
GYM 30 min -350kcal

= -2260kcal
I just find it very hard to believe that I am in the negatives by that much so far. If anyone can help me with this I will really appreciate it.
