70 y/o wife, mother of 4, grandmother of 11, and great grandmother of 3.

Multiple chronic medical conditions: high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, insulin dependent type 2 diabetic, GERD, gout and degenerative disk disease. osteo arthritis, fibro, chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular disease ... yada yada ... ad nauseum ;-)

I have had both knees replaced, both eye cataract surgery, carpal and ulnar tunnel, and am a 17 year survivor of uterine cancer.

Two years ago, I lost 60 pounds and have maintained it for 1 year. I am wanting to lose at least 30 pounds to get to "normal weight". Highest weight: 255 current weight 180 goal 150

I follow the Mediterranean lifestyle eating plan. I have done/am doing intermittent fasting and the Daily Dozen. I use a recumbent bike, light weights, and a few things like wall pushups, ball crunches and the gym, pool, and sauna.

My day: Mon Jan 23
Good evening! Smile

My first day. So glad to have a team again!

This has been a slow day. Planned to go grocery shopping but it was snowing when I got up.

For Daily Dozen, I got 3 servings of beans, one cruciferous veg and greens, a bunch of spices: tumeric, cumin, garlic powder, cayenne, nutritional yeast, onions and garlic for more veggies.
All of it counted for Mediterranean as well.

Not a lot to eat today and not all good. Muffins (2) and chili with kale, and of course, my dark chocolate treat. Very Happy

Rest day, so no exercise to post.
Lots of sleep last night ... 10 hr.

It has been a week since my carpel tunnel and ulnar surgery. Still healing, so no weights yet. Got my cardiac release on Dec. 29th, so I am hoping to get back to working my program soon.

Tomorrow is another day and I will work harder. Rolling Eyes

Plans for Tues:
Back to my eating program and a few min on the recumbent and probably some walking. Got my Fitbit back on now so my steps will count.

I have gotten a lot of motivation all read form all your posts !
