I will be 57 years old soon and have run out of excuses not to diet. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and recently I can only be on my feet for 30 minutes before I have to sit down. Last week I fell because I was not picking up my feet enough.
A more pleasurable advantage of losing weight and exercising is being able to shop in the petite clothing section. I am 4'10" and it is impossible to find a size 18 that fits. Finding a comfortable bra is just a dream.
If I eat real food instead of junk food; limit sweet treats to important TREAT times instead of every day fare; gradually, but consistently increase physical activity; I can't think of any reason that I can't do this for myself.
