I am a mother of 5 children. I am 32 yrs old. I have an 11 year old son, a 8 yr old daughter, a 4 yr old son, a 2 1/2 yr old daughter and a baby girl due on september 24 2012, a week after her users 3rd birthday. I have been relatively thin my entire life, but not due to genetics. I am the only one in my family who is thin, a size 0-1 when not pregnant. I work really hard to stay in shape. I have been eating healthy foods, no white flour, white sugar, hydrogenated oils, red meat or chicken ince I was 11. I eat about 1200 calories daily since I was 15. When I'm pregnant I eat about 1500 calories daily. I gained the most ever this pregnancy! In 6 1/2 months I ave lready gained 41lbs. The first trimester of pregnancy I was so sick, stopped excercising completely, and ate whole grain carbs, butter, and anything I felt able to eat. I gained 35lbs by my 5th month of pregnancy! I never weighed this much in my life! I was my largest at 42weeks pregnant with my oldest son at 152lbs. Lost all the 45 lbs after giving birth through breastfeeding, cutting my calories to 1200 daily, drinking a gallon of water daily, and taking short walks w him around the block. I weighed 130, 8 dys after his birth and 112 3 months after his birth, and 108 4 mths after. With my second I weighed 102 per pregnancy.. 137 at 40 weeks into my pregnancy. with my 3rd I weighed 112 prepregnancy and 138 at 41 1/2 weeks along. With my 4th I weighed 102 prepregnancy and 143 at 38 weeks along when I had her. I took depo shot 12 weeks after her birth and gained weight (8 lbs) in one week. It seemed impossible o lose weight unless I bicycled all the ime and the less then 1000 cal daily w that depo in me. I never took it agin but it took 2 years to get back down to 112 lbs, a size 2-3. Now I'm pregnant w baby 5 and have the most difficult time I ever ha in my life with this weight gain.
