I am 6 1/2 mths pregnant. At 5 weeks pregnant I only weighed 112 lbs but I already gained 42 lbs in the last 5 months of my pregnancy, which is 22lbs over the maximum I should have gained. I am a vegetarian but eat eggs, dairy and fish(2 servings a month) . I know most of the weight gain came from eating so much whole grain bread, crackers, and whole grain pasta in the first 4 months of my pregnancy. I am anemic so my dr recommended I take 4 cups of raw carrot spinach juice every day. That had about 400 calories. I sdded 3 raw apples for an addtl 180 calories. I also will be drinking a raw vegan protein shake every day which has 64 percent of my protein w 2 added bananas for a total of 500 calories for dinner.I feel horrible and never want to go .out into public because of my 40 extra pounds. I am only 5 ft 4 so it's way too much extra weight for my body to handle. I have no energy unless I switch to juicing and protein shakes. I am exhausted from too much wheatroducts.
