Walking is a great way to get fit and loose weight. I always think of the time my car broke down about 2 years ago and I had to walk just about everywhere I went. It came to about 2 to 5 miles a day for a month. I lost five pounds that month. No diet, No weight training, no health shakes. Just walking everywhere. I was sold. Now of course to get the most out of it want to add diet and weight training. But it is totally possible to loose by just walking.
