I'm in my mid-thirties and have struggled with my weight since college. I've been steadily getting bigger since my second son was born (he's six now). I also have learned that I'm what I call a "stuffer". When I get upset about things - husbands, kids, whatever - I stuff my feelings down and use food to make me feel better. I've really been working on that and can tell a big difference in many areas of my life.

The South Beach diet has been great so far. I'm such a picky eater and love carbs but it has been very doable for me - which is such a nice change. Other diets always felt too restrictive.

I'm working my way to a new me! I have a long way to go but I know I can get there!
