Hi Ladies
Yesterday was not my gym day so I got up and walked! I thought of this post & gave myself a mental push. I have to make my own motivation Smile Once I got outside it felt wonderful! Anybody else able to get exercise in this week?

Wow skinnydeb! Congratulations on losing the 15 pounds! How fabulous! Maybe you've just hit a plateau? When I lost weight (25 pounds!) a few years ago one of the things I did was avoid close parking when shopping. That way I got in extra steps, practical exercise my mom used say! I've put that strategy back in my routine. Every little bit helps I believe 😊 The main thing is don't give up!

Oh yeah, I forgot to talk about exercise. I've been going to the gym a minimum of twice a week since July. Often I get in 3 times a week. I'm trying to walk for 20-30 minutes on the days I don't go to the gym. Can't ever get beyond thinking about it. Oh if only thoughts could result in calorie burn!! My what a svelte body I'd have! As it is, it takes me 3-4 weeks to lose 1-2 pounds (gained 3 pounds around Halloween). Sad

Good morning ladies!
At least it's morning here, 7am in CaliforniaSmile I'm also in my 60s and need to lose 20lbs in order to be healthy. With so many decades under my belt I've spent 3 of them losing and gaining weight. I've gotten confused with how much protein, carbs and fat is needed in a daily diet in order to lose 1-2 pounds each week. There's a lot of contradictory advice on the internet. My immediate goal is to lose 4 pounds before 2018!
