I am a 52 year old Italian and Irish woman with three teenage kids. I love to cook and eat. I do cardio three days a week for an hour and weights two days for an hour. I try to mix it up. I have always been a good eater. Low fat, Lots of veges and lean meats. No real weight issues until I turned 45.
I have gained steadily for the past 5 years, have been on weight watchers and lost all, then gained it back by the same time the following year. So with the help of this web site I am recording all that I eat and seeing where my problems are. I am realizing how many things have sugar and bad carbs, which seem to be my downfall. I have a belly for the first time and some awesome muffin tops that I hope to be rid of by summer. I am losing slowly, the right way. It used to be so easy, not anymore.
