I am a 46 year old mother of three sons who is happily married. I have a full time job and a part time job. I live in a small town in southern Ohio.

I started two years ago on a healthier life style. I started at 315 and I am currently at 240 (as of 1/15/12). I also quit smoking a year and a half ago.

I try to excersize everyday and I try to eat correctly everyday. I am a member of Curves which I like very much but lately I feel like it is not enough. I have also joined a ZUMBA fitness studio. The instructor is a bit of a drill sargent. I thought I was in shape until I started to go to these classes. He is really making me work on my core. I hope I can keep it up, it's really not very fun but the results are starting to show.

I'm not sure what my goal weight is. I want to look good. One of these days...

What kind of scale do you use?
I bought a weight watchers scale. It has a lot of bells and whistles but you have to wait on it to save your weight. I don't like it. Would not purchase it again. I got it at Kmart for about $30.00.

Muscle cramps during excersize.
I have been excersising a lot and to my limits but after the excersize while stretching my feet and legs cramp. It feels like a Charlie-horse. This is during a class so I just can't just stop. Does anyone have an idea to stop this? Becki

Need a support buddy me too
Hi my name is Becki. I started my weight loss journey 2 years ago. So far I have lost 75 lbs. I have at least 50 or 60 more to go.

Journaling is my key. I never lie on my journal. When i start to gain weight I have noticed that I have quit journaling.

My other big key is excersize. I try to excersize every day. Zumba, running, walking, curves, I just joined a new fitness studio that has yoga and a couple of really hard hour long classes.

Some days I'm not sure if it's all worth it but most days I am pretty motivated.

What is your story?
