Fasting...I am unsure of this practice but I don't know a lot about it...I read that this is the new fad that you fast for a day then you can eat what you want up to 2000 calories. So, I ask myself do I want to go without today so I can eat what I want tomorrow. I could eat 2000 calories in one meal...between pizza, cheese bread and beer!! I think right now... the more I leave the bad foods alone the better off I will be in the long run...I am focusing on making changes and have faith the results will come.....Be good to yourself!!

Great weekend, stayed on plan...did some extra activities edged sidewalk and driveway... wash car... took mama shopping...grilled enough food Saturday so I didn't have to cook yesterday...chicken...cooked green beans and crooked neck squash...dessert was apple, walnuts in vanilla yogurt...I actually got over 7hrs of sleep last night....feeling great today...sleep, body nourished.....had kiwi for breakfast...Lets seize the DAY!!

My motto for this week is " If you focus on results, you will never change. If you focus on change, you will get results." This is what has help me through this week. When I pick up a piece of candy and I focus on how this would affect my goals, I was able to put the candy back...
2nd Week GOAL: 3 Pounds and 11,000 steps 4 days and 10,000 2 days.
Updated: I use the fitbit flex to monitor my steps: 04/08 12,181, 04/09 10,461, 04/10 7,658 I have to rock it today...04/11 11,600 whoo hoo...need 11,000 for 04/12 whoohoo 11,671

Self Limitations and Restrictions: Sometimes, I feel that I am not living life, due to my self-imposed restrictions. I don't go to events because of my shame for the way I look. I have zero self confidence, you will find no pictures of me!! Does anyone else say they will go to an event after they lose the weight, sometimes, I hide from people in the stores so no one will see me due to weight gain the last 2 years. While, I am an intelligent person who has a high level job position, I have no self esteem. I would be horrified for a love one to feel this way, and I always promote individuality and tell my grandkids that we are all different, why must I be so cruel to myself??
