A week of gorging on Easter Chocolate has not done me well. Back on the wagon this week.

Am I the only person on earth who thinks that "The Biggest Loser" is completely irresponsible and awful? I find it appalling that someone would be completely destroyed by only losing 2 pounds in one week and I hate all the shocked and disappointed faces when someone doesn't pull off a double digit weight loss. I HATE Gillian. If someone berated me the way she does I would not find it inspiring at all. Frankly, I would be more prone to ask her what steroids she was taking to make her have man jaw. I don't find negativity inspiring AT ALL. We are constantly told that HEALTHY weight loss is 1 to 2 pounds a week but here is an incredibly popular show flaunting how terrible it is not to lose 10 pounds per weigh in. DISGUSTING! I understand that the show would not be anywhere near as exciting if people only lost one pound a week, but I do find it very disappointing that they flog their "diet" to the general public. The majority of the people buying into this so called plan are not being supervised by a physician, nor do they have the benefit of being tortured by a personal trainer every single day. The diet plan is pure snake oil and the entire approach is unhealthy at best and lethal at worst.

Still eating more than I typically would this week. I have been pretty drowsy too, but may just be a little down in the dumps since the spring is taking SO long to get here. I will see on Friday when my scale comes out of hiding.

I don't know why but my appetite is crazy this week. I have been constantly hungry and I never feel like that. I just finished with TOM so maybe my iron is low and my body is trying to replenish itself. I ate lunch TWICE yesterday, but I kept it healthy and didn't gorge on a bunch of junk. I am in a decent frame of mind though and feeling pretty positive on the whole. I probably won't lose anything this week but I don't think I will be gaining a butt load either. I don't want to walk around hungry and irritable. Everyone is starting to notice my weight loss (it only took 23 pounds for that to happen) which is nice and VERY motivating.

Just one and a half more pounds to my goal! I have decided to reward myself with a shopping trip! I can't wait to have a pair of pants that fit. I think I might even be able to shop in a normal lady store!
