I bought a new scale and it weighs heavier than my old wonky one. I went back and changed all my weight entries so I could still see my downward arc. Ridiculous I know but every little thing helps. I made a great soup last night that was filling and tasty. My whole family liked it. Even the world's pickiest six year old. I also played Just Dance on the wii last night for longer than I anticipated. it was actually fun to exercise! I like dancing HATE going to the gym. This could work for me.

Well the diet is getting easier, but the weight loss is slowing down to realistic increments now. I guess if losing weight that fast was typical EVERYONE would be skinny. When I look at how much weight I have to lose I get pretty discouraged. By losing one pound a week I will still have to do this for over a year to get down to my reccomended weight. I hate being the girl at the campfire watching everyone enjoy a beer and roasting hot dogs...no no I'm fine, I love drinking water and eating salad. You are having a bbq? Great, do you mind grilling up a plain rubbery chicken breast for me? No no, I don't want any wine, sparkling water is my fave. BLECH. Can't all the skinny people just die and then I don't have to care?

Holding steady today. Guess that is the end of the water weight loss. Now on to the tedious frustrating 1 to 2 pounds a week if I am lucky.

I am on a plateau but I believe I am also suffering from a little diet burn out. I have decided to take a week off and enjoy myself (within reason) and get back on the train again. See you next week, hopefully with a little more zeal for my diet.
