I am so sick of measuring every thing out.
Today, I am just hating being on a diet - not because of any thing. There's no temptation, there's nothing going on like that except that I stepped on the scale this morning and it looks like I've gained 6 lbs.
That can't be correct at all. I have been following this diet to the letter.
Crap.
I'm tired and irritable and this may be withdrawal from something. Some food thing.
Breakfast: beef and vegetable soup
coffee w/ stevia and cream

Lunch:
Low Carb bar : 2
Mid-Afternoon snack; Low Carb bar 2
Dinner: Cheese and Jalapeno soup with jalapeno peppers.

Good morning all,
I've been up since 5 and just couldn't stomach the idea of more eggs and cheese this morning. So I had a low carb bar instead.
I've got to go grocery shopping so my choices are limited this a.m.
Happily, my boy friend is showing a slow and steady loss. He weighed him self and he's 2 lbs lighter this morning then he was yesterday. Yay!
He's really metabolically resistant and lactose intolerant. I really think that the flax seed oil has made all of the difference but he still glares and makes a face when he's aware that I'm giving it to him.
Poor guy.
He also has cut way back on his dairy - which I really think helped.
I know this is probably wishful thinking but I really want to be 150 by Thanksgiving. I'd really like to have lost 20 lbs by then. Ah well, slow and steady wins the day.
I do think that I'm back in ketosis though. I've noticed that I have this weird taste in my mouth that wasn't there after I had those two pieces of bread.
Does any body else have this issue?

I really love this site. Every one is supportive and helpful and the encouragement is just awesome.
Same thing tomorrow. Client meetings galore and not much time to think about food.
Bleh.
Goal: 20 carbs :l: 1 hour of excercise :l: 64 oz. of water
Breakfast:
scrambled eggs with mushrooms, onions, zucchini, spinach & shredded left over pot roast
coffee with stevia and h.c.

Mid-morning: Balance low carb bar

1 cup of spaghetti squash sauteed with ham in EVOO with sea salt and pepper

We ended up doing what we call a 'junk food night'. But we ate stuff that was within the diet and totally with in our carb limit.
