Well, I think my scale must be tempermental! I was awake at 2:00am so I got up to do work, voided and weighed myself: 169.6 - gaining! So depressing! Able to go back to bed and sleep well. Got up again, voided, and magically lost a pound! Weighed again just to make sure and got the same reading: 168.6! And it really wasn't the hugest amount of voiding. Very strange but I am grateful. Able to take a short walk yesterday in the blustery fall wind, leaves swirling everywhere! And my blood sugar yesterday was 84 so job well done!

So in addition to not getting off my butt last week, I also made some delicious soups using that real chicken broth - not necessarily low in sodium so maybe some of this is water weight. I think i'll go back to weighing every day. Or maybe not. Is a daily let-down better than a weekly grand disappointment?! At the end of the day, it really is calories that count. Dr. Pat told me about a guy who put himself on a 1600 calorie diet of pure junk food and lost weight. I love that I am eating healthy. Just astounds me how little I need to eat to maintain what I am.

shocked again at the lack of weight loss and I was so strict but satisfied with my diet. I wasn't strict with my exercise. Let work take over and face it. I've never been an exerciser. Well, looks like I need to find the same motivation that got me down 47 pounds for exercising. Or I will be at this weight for a long time. On the positive side, I am losing a half pound a week!
