leg cramps!
Atkins advises (along with other low carbers) to be sure to get at least 1/2 tsp salt a day by adding to water twice a day or drinking two cups of broth a day if lower than 50 carbs a day. This helps for energy, cramps, headache and general feeling good. The diuretics effect of LC depletes salt. I also have done a lot of research and found I need a LOT of magnesium, we all do, so I take 3 SLOWMAG and 1/2 to 3/4 tsp of Natural Calm at bedtime. If I skip one or both, I get horrible leg cramps.
