43yr old mom of 3 (10yr old twins and an 8yr old. Binge/stress eater.need to lose 100 lbs so i can enjoy and participate in activities w/my kids before it is too late!!

Fast forward 7 years- 50 yr old mom who just recently had Gastric Sleeve surgery in Dec 2014. Best thing I ever did! Wish I would have done it sooner. Anyway...... Definitely not a magic wand. I still have a way to go on my journey, but this was the kick in the butt I needed. I still struggle w/ food addictions and stress, but it is more controlled now.
I have a great support system at home as well as here on FS.

Highest weight- 309 lbs. 12/ 2014
Am too computer illiterate to change the diet/ weight in my profile to Gastric Sleeve- lol :)

Gastric Bypass Surgery
Good luck to you-fatchick45987- on your journey. I had the surgery because I was desperate. I tried EVERYTHING. I couldn't lose 20 lbs in 8 years!! This was my last resort to get my life back. By no means is it a quick fix. You still have to work at it and make the right food choices. But every time I want to make an unhealthy choice I remember everything I went through to get to this point and I change my mind Smile Much success to you Smile)

LAWL Spokesperson???
i have just one tidbit of advise for you-get all your products that you paid for up front-even if you have to store them in your closet in your bedroom! No one- not even the staff at my center knew about my center closing. They found out the day we did. When I went in to fill out paperwork( for any reimburement that was owed to me-weeks I paid for, unused product, etc.)you could tell they were just as shocked as we were! BTW- they went into Chap.11-I filled out paperwork from courts-still waiting after over a year. I don't expect to get my money back.(over $600.00 in bars) Just chalking it up to a very expensive lesson learned!I'm hoping it won't happen to any of you! I live in New Jersey so I don't know about other states! Good luck!

Another Bad Day
Fell off the wagon for 1 1/2 days. Was gonna be depressed about it and not go the gym, etc. and probably not stay on track today,BUT.... started reading some journal entries and it made me feel so much better! I started to beat myself up about it--but all that would do is lead to another binge. So, today is a new day, yesterday is old news, and I will do this!! This site is a great way to stay motivated and to get the help, encouragement we all need! Hope everyone has a great daySmile
