The day after Thanksgiving and I didn't gain a single pound. Kept it to two meals yesterday and ate very small portions, drinking zero calorie beverages. Ecstatic. It probably helps that I don't have a large palette either. Being a picky eater and all, I literally have the cravings of a three year old. I have added some new foods to my palette though: ginger tea, kibbi, and starbucks skinny peppermint mocha, yum!

Trying out this gluten-free thing. I've discovered that I'm gluten and partially lactose intolerant, depending on the type of food I consume. I absolutely cannot have any forms of gluten, from rice and pasta to bread. For lactose, I can have yogurt, low fat milks, and cheeses. Gluten is the number one cause of my slow/non-existant weight loss. Consuming breads and pastas always seems to spike my blood sugar level and causes me to have frequent mood swings. Hopefully by choosing to eliminate these two enzymes, I'll lead a healthier lifestyle.
