Time for the "new" me. I've been 100+ pounds overweight for more than 13 years. Started with a knee injury and when downhill from there. I've always eaten whatever I wanted and when I ate, I generally ate till I was full. I wasn't good at eating breakfast and usually just had two meals per day. And to top it off, I work a job trapped in a cubicle all day. A recipe for a fatness and likely an early grave.

A little more than a year ago, I lost 30 pounds by simply cutting calories. Two weeks ago I found myself with that 30 pounds back, plus 10 more. Not even sure now why I fell off the wagon and went back to bad habits.

I've watched a couple of friends have great success losing weight on HCG. They look good. I was tempted to try it, but was scared of the health risks and the 500 calories a day. I asked my Doctor what he thought about it, and he simply said there was no science to back it up.

He prescribed 3 months of phentermine to help kick start things and get me going. So a week ago I began the journey. I will lose at least 100 pounds. I will become more active. I will track my calories. I will be successful.

I found this site after downloading the app on my phone. I have found the phone app to be the most important part of keeping me honest. It's great to have it right with me to check and report what I will eat.

So these first 3 months will be "pharmaceutically enhanced". I will make the most of them. So far it's been pretty easy. Looking forward to achieving my goal and using this website/phone app to help get there.

How I lost 10 pounds in one week.
Sure, maybe you can do it as elective surgery. Works better than HCG. Razz We can call it the Appendix Protocol. Laughing

How I lost 10 pounds in one week.
It's a difficult thing to do during the holidays. I'd been on a plateau for a while. Turns out I found an easy way to drop 10 pounds in just a week.

The secret is to have your appendix go bad and have surgery to remove it. It's not a diet for everyone, but it worked for me Razz It was the one small victory from a very painful week.

Dealing with needing new clothes
Hey... that's a good problem to have! Congratulations.
I'm have only one more hole to go on a belt I have worn for at least 7 years. I'm kind of excited about replacing it.

8,000 Calories!! A meal worth dying for?? Wow....
Wow...... an 8000 calorie burger. I have to admit, I would have been up to trying the challenge few months ago. The atmosphere looked nice Smile (go ahead and slap me for that).
