o.k., so are we on the downward slide again? As long as I be true! Happy Father's Day to all. We took my dad to a buffet and I did wonder if I'd blow it - NO WAY JOSE!! Buffets are great, especially on our Indian Reservation and Casino!!! That is where we went, they had steak and fish and chicken galore! I was VERY proud of myself, the only thing tempting was my all time favorite - Blackberry Cobbler and vanilla ice cream. I looked like a sad puppy in the window wanting to be adopted!! It ws heartwrenching! Instead of having the huge bowl like I could have done any othertime, I did have one bite from my sisters bowl and I was o.k. I have found if I do just take the bite I am o.k. instead of feeling soo flustered because I know it is good and eatting a whole bowl. This is what is working for me. Have to say, having that one bite is better that what I used to do so that is success to me!

WHEW, what's goin on with the body? Had to call my sister in a panic today, I truly am being faithful to this. She reminded me that our weight fluxuates everyday, it is o.k. just keep sticking to it!

O.K. even though I went up a few pounds this is alright. They do say to weigh once a week so I need to look at it this way, if at the beginning of the week I started at 343 and still am at 336, that is still a loss. Have to keep positive and remember that I am doing well and sticking to the "rules" of this weight loss program. Have found some fabulous and new treats and snacks will share in recipe box. Am going well and almost one full week down! Onward to the new me :-)

After an emotional meltdown, a 6 hour shopping trip at 3 differnt supermarkets (with two children!!), and a stop at Pizza Hut for the rest of the family I finally got home at 10:30 p.m. to make myself and omlette with chicken & shredded cheese. YES, I cheated and had to have ONE cinnimon bread stick with dulce de leche dipping sauce - DO YOU KNOW HOW ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS THOSE ARE?? I probably had a total of 10 carbs yesterday but still lost .2 lbs. Well now that I have had my meltdown from this being difficult and have gotten my groceries, I will just focus a bit harder today. One day at a time. Keep up the willpower all :-)

YEEEHA! Still on the downward flow, which is a great place to be. I am pretty excited about this and yet a little scared too. I am afraid that when I start adding carb which would be today that I will stop loosing. But, I know I can't just live on all protein and no carbs. Had a busy day yesterday, painting! YUK! Am tired of painting thank goodness that part is redone. Getting a rental ready for the couple to move in, almost done. I always thought I would love to flip houses but when we had to do our own rental, that has sucked! Anyway, didn't make it to grocery store so am going today. Think I have a pretty good list. Still no swelling, am thinking I am doing right by my body to have ne painful swelling. Look already 3 days down - One day at a time.
