A BUFFET????
All going well here, have been busy the past few days and have still been weighing every morning when I get up and am still positive. At the end of the second week I weighed in Monday morning at 333.0 lbs, Tuesday was 334.6 and Wednesday was 334.8. I don't know what happened to Thurs, Fri, Sat BUT Sunday Shame on ME! Husband wanted to go (instead of Church ) to the Alcohol Nitro Drag Races. Shame on him! I knew this would be a whole day of nothing but Italian Sausage Dogs and grilled onions - "OH MAN!" I was going to hurry and make some of my delicous Napa Pastrami Wraps (recipe submitted) but we were in a hurry so I asked for forgiveness! And we were off. NOT only did we have the sausages afterwards some friends met us at the casino for THE DINNER BUFFET. I had already felt like I cheated so I just failed all together - I had the blackberry cobbler and ice cream. This was my logic - I ate all steak and salmon for the main part of the meal and some grilled chicken so thinkin that I didn't do bad with dinner it is o.k. just this one time!!!! Well, I am not going to beat myself up because I was very back to being "good" come Monday morning weighing in also at 333! I can watch my weight fluxuate throughout the week and then come Monday morning I am seeing that lower weight so throughout the week doesn't bother me, I am just watching. I do think that rewarding ourselves with food is kindof going backwards but, it really is nice to treat ourselves with something sweet and delicious every now and then. So from START: 343 Week One Ending: 340 and Week Two Ending: 333 (AND WEARING SHORTS I HAVEN'T WORN IN A LONG TIME!!:-) ) I think I am doing pretty well. And the cobbler was superb!
