Pedicure last night. (aaaaahhhhhh)
Yoga X this morning. I had written down stuff and left it at home. So here goes random thoughts this morning. Twisting triangle pose - OUCH. Legs tight - couldn't hold the pose as long. Wobbly on the balancing poses. Held Yoga Belly moves (boat, 1/2 boat) as long as possible before holding myself up by grabbing my knees. Still tried to keep the same form. Love my cork yoga block - I rely on it ALOT. And it is so much better than my foam one. Sometimes I wish it were taller! Still not twisting...still just leaning forward with hands on block on Warrior Three - I can hold it until half moon and twisting half moon. I'm just NOT there yet. Can't straighten my leg yet. If my block were higher, I could - I've used an ottoman before and it made enough of a difference I could straighten and was closer to the actual pose. Find tightening the butt muscles up helps to hold some of those balancing poses. Skipped the Side Balance move - was light headed after coming out of twisting triangle pose.
Really should have gotten up at 4:30am instead of 5am. Didn't get to enjoy the hot shower as much as I normally do. However, the extra 30 minutes of sleep was NICE! bpm
