ONly down a 1/2 a lb this week which really sucks but I will take it. I am not jumping up and down anymore so that is encouraging. Makes me feel like it is truly lbs of fat rather than water weight bouncing around. Next week and I am really going to start exercising. PROMISE!!
177.5 lb Lost so far: 31.5 lb.    Still to go: 17.5 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Thanks for the positive words. You sound like me about exercising... I never want to exercise and ALWAYS put it off for some other excuse. Start on Monday and if you exercise 3 days of the week, I will do it 3 days too. Deal?

Hi Graciepoo - I am having the same experience as you this week - only down .5 - after hitting my mini goal last week - my scales bounced around for a few days and finally settled down. Try starting out with just 10 mins of exercise in the AM and 10 mins in the PM and add on from there. Initially I was having trouble with the mindset that I had to carve out at least an hour at a time and it seemed like I would never fit that into my busy schedule. So I started with a little challenge with ImLuuvd and we both agreed to do at least 20 minutes a day - now it is a habit with me and I really feel so much better when I am done. It is not just the weight loss, we also want to become healthier and those who are successful with their weight loss plans have incorporated exercise into their lives - and I don't know about you but when I finally reach my final goal, I want to be able to maintain it for the rest of my life!

AMEN (forthehalibut)....You're doing fabulous Gracie....When I saw my doc yesterday - like all the nutrition info I've read....anymore than a pound or two a week is too much too fast....and a half pound is two sticks o' buttah darlin!! And you're right about the *fat* loss as opposed to water loss....keep doing what your'e doing.... and you WILL reach your next goal....Slow and Steady!

That's right!! Slow and steady is our GOAL to staying successful!! :) Adding in 10 minutes here and there is a GREAT START! Burn that rubber baby!!

You LOST .5 lbs.! That's a GOOD thing! I always want to lose more than I've been losing in one week, but I try to tell myself that as long as I lose I'll be happy.
