Ditto! I like yoga and Pilates, but have added the kettle bell to my routine :)

If you start lifting weights, don't be surprised if you increase your weight... after all, muscle weighs more than fat. If it's NOT about the weight, use a sewing (seamstress) tape measure and record your changing shape while you're doing any type of strength training - it can be very motivating!

squats, lunges, box jumps and burpees and planks...keep the yoga up too...it'll help recovery. I also agree with @From371to184, use a measuring tape and i'll add one more before and affer pics. True the weight will go up but your calorie expenditure over a 24-hr period goes up exponentially vs cardio alone due to increased muscle mass and repairing the muscle.

Good move find gym that has free weights and machine, you should probably start out with the machines this way you can experiment around and you won't hurt yourself.Start out doing a maintenance program this way you'll be toning your muscles and burning off fat.You won't increase muscle size unless you start adding on more weight. The YMCA has a month to month and they usually have a good selection. So you can ask all the ? you want for them to know your needs and set you up on a program.Good Luck I this info was helpful.
