This pound is a surprise. For the past month or so I really have been off track. I read many posts where people say this and then say I need to get back on track. I am not ready yet. I am not sure what brought this on after almost a year of steady losses. I record faithfully everything I eat, no matter how awful! This really helps me. I do live in dread of putting my weight back on. I have two sisters who are great dieters and lose weight and look terrific only to gain it all or most of it back. I definitely so not want to do this! I am hoping that this fear alone will help me. I have been fluctuating up and down tenths of pounds, but I don't post unless it is more than a half pound. Unlike many people who were thin and gained weight as adults, I have always been overweight. Always the fattest kid in class and the nice, chubby friend. The least I ever weighed in my adult life is 146 as a senior in high school, which quickly rose to over 150 in college. So 154 is a low weight for me. I am only 5' 3 1/2" so it is still high and I would like to lose more, but right now for some reason I don't have it in me. That is why Sandy inspires me so much because she has done this for so long and has so much self motivation to continue. I don't post often, but I thought it might help me.
154.0 lb Lost so far: 39.0 lb.    Still to go: 9.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Congratulations on dropping that pound....and for what this new weight means. Having that bit of fear of regaining should serve you well. Of course no one should have an overwhelming sense of fear, but I think a bit of it is what will ultimately keep you at the weight where you want to be. Maintaining your weight (even losing a pound here or there in the meantime)until you're "ready" to go on is still a huge accomplishment, so continue to pat yourself on the back for that. When you're ready to go on....IF you decide to do so.....you'll know! In the meantime, continue to get used to this new you! You've done great!
