I actually gained weight but I look leaner than before, I even got a comment from my boss on that. Interesting.

My cold is almost all gone and my energy level is finally back up to the point that I want to move more again.

During the week that I had a cold I did not do any fast, just IF for 20 hrs but this morning I gave in to some eggs since I was hungry from my OMAD yesterday.

I just ate my first 1 lb raw ground beef with 2 raw eggs and some hot bone broth to warm the meat. it was not bad at all with some salt. I think that I can start looking into going raw carnivore but right now I'm just experimenting.

I have been drinking blood from the meat for the past week to get myself go into this. I really like it.

I will be going on a cruise starting Saturday so I don't plan on any fasts unless the food is not carnivore or fake eggs than I will fast the whole time if it's bad food.
205.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 35.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Be careful with eating raw meat. It can have ecoli in it. No diet is worth dying for. I have been an RN for 35 years. I have seen what it can do.

I love that you are trying to find what is best for you, & always​ dig your posts. Let us know how the raw meat treats your energy level (curious about it). Can you consume blood while fasting, it is a liquid right (b12 energy)? Enjoy your cruise!!!

I love that YOU are experimenting....emphasis on the "YOU". Tried the raw eggs a couple of times in the seventies...aka "Rocky"...but just for a goof. Please let us know....how it goes for you. Have fun on your cruise.

I've heard that leanest possible beef tastes best raw, vs. cooked where fattier has more flavor. Love the tartare a local butcher makes, but haven't made it myself yet. Thanks for the reminder! They started using sous vide'd egg yolk instead of raw; I think I like the raw better, but might try doing it sous vide at a lower temperature than it seems they used. I'm not that worried about eggs if the source is right. Raw meat, either; more people die from HFCS over years than from salmonella or e coli. --- I've made blood pancakes, but they sure weren't keto! --- Can't wait to hear about your cruise!

Hmmmm not ready for raw meat yet - but hey I'm okay with pigs feet and blood pudding HAHA I guess it depends on what you grow up with.
