Thanks for the encouragement! Don't worry about the slip-ups everyone has them. The important things is that you don't let them get you down, and now that you are home again you can start fresh and get back to losing weight! -KatieSue

I've made some mistakes in the past with so-called "cheat days" that just derailed my weight loss for extended periods of time... I've been on the site three months and it took a comment that this is a complete and permanent lifestyle change to get me over that after a few weeks of seriously thinking about it over and over and then I realized it was TRUE and I finally stopped the cheating... Superbowl Sunday is coming and there are a bunch of people gathering in my building and I live in Massachusetts, so the Patriots are big here - but I am going to do my best just to bring down a diet soda - even though it's not the healthiest thing - and avoid the pizza and who knows what other fattening party foods everyone who's overweight will be pigging out on... I know now I'm done being the sixty pound over my ideal weight guy and I've got only a little way to go to reach my ideal weight though I want to go below it a bit as I was naturally very thin until I got fat in one year 13 years ago... you can do it - stick with it - you can reach your goals this site is an awesome help...good luck! :)

I already have a Superbowl menu started. They aren't "health foods" but they're low carb. Little smokies wrapped in bacon (bake in oven), Steamed shrimp with garlic/caper dipping sauce (message me for recipe), veggie tray and possibly teriaki chicken skewers.
