So, looking back to the beginning of the year, I have lost a total of 19 pounds since the 1st of January. I lost 7lbs. in January, 8lbs. in February, and 4lbs. so far in March. I am excited by those numbers because my loss has been measurable, even if it is not steady or significant. I am motivated to beat my loss in February (8lbs.) by the end of March.

I started working out consistently at the gym and I definitely feel better. I am finding new ways to eat stuff that I love, without blowing myself out of the water with calorie consumption. There are foods that I will compromise on, but I will NEVER cut out completely. I am working on making good choices consistently so that I can choose when to indulge without guilt.

There is so much contradictory information out in the diet industry that I have decided to use my common sense rather than bank on someone else's "AMAZING" results. My results would not be categorized as "amazing", but they are my results from my hard work and my dedication to my health and my life. I love this new outlook on health and fitness that I am developing. I've come this far, and I don't feel like I am at the end of my journey, rather I feel like I am just getting revved up to do more!
