Loving the drop! My once a week weigh-in makes me happy. It really is more stressful to weigh every day. It taught me a lot though, about the ups and downs of water weight. My number one goal was reached--control over blood sugar numbers. They are steadily inside my non-diabetic zone. I also found out how to eat in restaurants. I know I'm ahead of the game in one respect--I'm not a sweets lover; lucky. Anyway, I have a long way to go, and I'm glad I'm setting an intermediate goal of 10% of body weight. Next step is to get my exercise going. We'll see what that does to my appetite and my blood sugar numbers. It has only been three weeks since I started this. I'm committed for the long term life change. How are you all doing? Happy eating!

Glad it's going well. Sweet things - biscuits especially - oh and cake - oh and puddings - were the things that I missed most, but I think I've got the hang of it. It's taken me a long time to get over not having afternoon tea (scone with butter, jam and clotted cream) when we go out.

Oh I did like that kind of thing though it's not a custom in the states! But I would have been happy to have savory snacks with my tea. Fruity desserts (strawberries and whipped cream, fruit pies) were a favorite, but eating plain berries with unsweetened whipped cream or strained greek yogurt works for me.

Well done, good loss. It's amazing when you cut down on sugar how much less the sugar cravings are.

I'm enjoying my frozen berries - they'll be even nicer in summer when it's warm - Tony (hubby) shivers when he watches me eat them - shouldn't watch!!
