I ended up weighing in this morning since I woke up "feeling lighter" and was delighted to see I had lost about 2 lbs. That's 3 lbs total since last Saturday which I am considering quite the amazing feat. This past week was packed with perilous potential possibilities; a holiday party, a rock concert, a movie night, 2 birthday lunches out at restaurants and 3 dinners out at restaurants. I even broke down and had a margarita at the music event. And still, down 3 lbs this week! Things have really changed in my life, no will power really needed. The Bright Line eating keeps on surprising me. It IS all about biochemistry, that's what drives our behavior. I'm reading "Fat Chance" by Dr Lustig and that has explained so much about how getting our insulin levels down (through eating more fiber, ridding our diets of sugary/processed food and exercise) changes the entire game. I think I'll be able to easily get below 220 by Christmas. Woo Hoo. I hope everyone is having a grand Saturday.
220.4 lb Lost so far: 17.6 lb.    Still to go: 32.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
