It's a change so I have to record it (rofl)

The little daily fluctuations all smiled away. I can see why some people weigh every day and record every week or two or longer...

Snow here today, GP rang to say they want to cancel. Honstly! We get so little snow when we have a splash of the white stuff everybody panics, close the schools and everything. What do we have - an inch of wet slushy stuff and fine rain which will have it melted away in no time. Pah. They wanna try dealing with real snowfall.

I record everyday and I find it has helped me understand and not fear fluctuations. Many an eating plan goes awry because of a fluctuation that would have been gone the next day.....Are you in the UK with the snow?

I weigh every morning before breakfast in my nightgown, but record once per week on Monday. I am OCD about weighing everyday but don't let the daily fluctuations worry me.

it's a good loss so why not record it. Once on a Friday morning, is good enough for me.

Aye, in the UK snow, for what it was worth. The gp decided she had to stay at work as all the fields had gone green, so I got to see her after all. she last saw me 30lbs ago so she was impressed by how well I looked :D Of course she had to suggest another statin for me, just so she could tick that box, we both know I won't take it, but if she recommends it and I refuse it's my bad, not hrs. I'm ok with that :) Today's loss is just shifting the extra which appeared overnight the day before. We went to collect the little fella from his mate's and were invited in for supper.... nothing weighed, but I took a conservative guess. Simple basic fare, they know my food difficulties and eat good honest food. First potato in a long time, I ate it - after all they had spared their own dinner to stretch the meal - it was only two small pieces. I have to say I am not fussed about potato, I don't miss it or crave it in any form :) I was amazed to see the net carbs for 100g though, makes it even easier to not have. It did mean I ate more food in the evening than I would normally. It'll all be ok. Rhontique - I do the same, I take off the weight of my nightie though - all 200g of it :) These days I only record a change, up or down. I suppose I could do a weekly record, I might try it. Works for a lot of people. I know I need to weigh daily or I can find myself off track too quickly.

I am 70 lbs down from the last time my GP saw me. Hope to lose a lot more before she sees me again.

70lbs - WOW - that's a great achievement - will she even recognise you?
