Good for you! You made a conscious decision which kept you from over doing it...many would probably frown on this but I think you have learned self control and you were aware of the consequences... I have been really stressing about being on Phase two lately... I am not sure it is the right move for me.... I would probably have stayed on induction the whole time if the weight lose continued at 20lbs pe month....but it didnt....slowed down at 23lbs and now I am happy to see 1 or 2lbs go.... this plan does work but I am really afraid to go to the next level...

Being afraid to move on is VERY common. It seems like this huge jump. Its NOT. Remember that the first rung of OWL is adding 5 more veggie carbs. MOST people stay in ketosis until they hit 40 or so carbs. Adding those 5 extra carbs shouldn't do a thing to hinder your weight loss, and MORE LIKELY, will HELP it. Most people find that there is a pound or two of gain right after they up it, then that comes right off and they either continue loosing at the same rate as before or even faster. Just watch out for carb creep. Don't start adding "low-carb" tortillas or breads or pastas, and once you add nuts or berries, do it as slowly and deliberately as you can. Remember that .5 to 2#s a week is the healthy, sustainable amount of weightloss. It would be great but very bad to keep loosing at the Induction rate. Looking forward to hearing from you. Also, if you haven't already done it, sign up at www.atkins.com and post on that forum....I really feel that they are the biggest reason that I'm still motivated at this point.

Sounds like we did about the same thing on Thanksgiving. I gained about 2# then was down over 2 this morning. I am going to see what tomorrow is before I enter it. I had trouble wanting to nibbling Friday but today was OK. Glad to hear you enjoyed Thanksgiving and didn't overdo it as bad as you could have!! I got so busy today that I didn't drink my water, that may be a huge mistake, I hope not!
