At the end of week 1 I'm down an inch on my waist and half a pound on the scale. It's great to see progress and I'm working hard at being patient with any amount of movement in the right direction. Since I started walking for part of my lunch hour, I'm easily averaging an hour of exercise a day.

The weak area that I'm focusing on improving is snacking after 8pm. I usually eat a large salad with chicken or salmon for dinner, which feels nice and filling for about an hour, then I start feeling empty. Sometimes my stomach is growling before bedtime and it's hard not to grab a snack.
148.5 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 28.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Can you have a snack right at 7:45? I have been having one of the approved snacks a little bit after dinner, and for the most part that wards off the late night hunger. I have always been a huge late night snacker, but I only slipped up one night on that so far!

MBurd, thanks for the suggestion. And congrats on being so diligent on curbing your own evening snacking! I had a snack after dinner tonight so we'll see how that works.
