Still trying to get hold of my dessert habit.....every week I pledge to cut out desserts, but I lose that promise to myself each meal. Not happy with myself!

Try some low calorie desserts like Greek yogurt, low carb ice cream, low calorie fruit parfaits etc.

Agree that a low-carb yogurt with Reddi Whip is a tasty dessert, and protein boost. And agree that maybe NO desserts may be activating feelings of rebellion or resistance. Scaling back to desserts LESS OFTEN could be a good fit for success.
Over the winter, I fell back into a rut of regular desserts. I got hooked on having these individually wrapped truffles nearly every night.. sometimes one..or two.. then three fairly regularly. I stopped buying them and moved to low-carb yogurts. Sometimes put the yogurt in the freezer for about 30 minutes..and then stir before eating for an ice-cream-like mouth feel.

sugar free pudding and reddi whip w bake believe chips is a cheap dessert.
I had to figure out what emotions I was attaching to dessert in order to achieve success in that area. my struggle lately is eating when too tired or too much pain. then...I just don't care at all.
