Well, I'm back and with a huge weight gain. I'm having such a hard time since my Mom passed away in Feb. I took care of her at home for 6 years and now I'm kind of having an identity issue. I quit my job to take care of her and kept her at home and for those 6 years I was "Mom's caregiver" I not only lost my Mom but also lost what I've been used to doing as a way of life. Having a hard time getting back into the work force. A lot of companies don't understand someone staying out of the work force for as long as I did. I explain it and then they ask for current professional references. I feel like crap and I know it's because of the weight gain. Time to create a new workout routine and get back on track with my eating. I know things will eventually workout out.

I went back to school after a long break with sick kids. Depending on your field, its really tough after a break that long without some kind of current references as I am sure you are finding. Take care of you for awhile until you start feeling more your self. {{hugs}}

Glad you are back & hold your head high!!! Please KNOW that gaining the weight back doesnt equal failure,its the GIVING UP that equals failure. A quote I especially like is: "I am not judged by the number of times I fail or make a mistake but by the number of times I succeed. And the number of times I succeed is in direct proportion to the number of times I make a mistake & CONTINUE TO PERSIST." ----Endure my friend! :D
