We won overall championship in our bowling league yesterday! Woot, it actually came down to the third game, tenth frame. I needed the first strike to close it out for good, and I nailed it. Boom! Needless to say, I felt like we had a big chip on our shoulder this season and I was so pumped up from it I was shaking with adrenaline. Only because the entire three games it was like everyone was rooting against us. I love winning because I know everyone else hates the fact that we win. I would have to actually count but this is probably our 4th overall league championship win in the past 6 years. And if we don't win, we are usually in the running to win.

As Tubbs would say...*I'm tootin' my own horn.....TOOT TOOT!

Ha! I like how you're tooting your horn :D Congratulations on winning your championships!!! That's so exciting, and bowling is so much fun! Did your team members raise you on top of their shoulders and do a little cheer for you? Gosh, your workout sounds intense (I'm guessing it is, but then again, I don't speak gym haha)! Everyone seems to really be enjoying their jump ropes lately...it must be a sign that it's awesome. Hope you enjoy your Monday!!

Tubbs! - No nobody raised me up! A couple handshakes here and there from the very few that actually respect and do not dislike us. In fact when they announced it on the PA, the reaction was *garble garble...yay...garble garble*. The workout pretty rough at the very beginning because of the pull ups! I was just thinking of anything I could to get as much as in as possible now that I am back to muscle groups. Have a good week yourself!

Ok, now I'm mad... Did you do for real 110 pullups? And I can't even do one! Lol just kidding I'm not mad that's an impressive workout! I have to find out what an horizontal pullup is... and what lying prone means. You really have the way to make your workouts never boring, always looking like so much fun. Oh, I increased my weight for the deadlift, I was at 107 lbs on Saturday's workout, on my way for body-weight very soon... Congratulations on winning the bowling championship!

"garble garble YAY! garble garble" I just about died laughing trying to picture that! Pfft as if your team didn't do a happy dance for you at least. If I were on your team, there would be a whole lot of hootin' and hollerin'! I still have yet to do a pull up that isn't assisted, so bravo for starting your routine off with that and not being completely pooped!

Jessy - Ok, let me rephrase! Yes, 110 pull ups. In a row? No. Pull Up Pyramid is usually good with a partner. I do one pull up, then the partner does one. I do two pull ups, then the partner does two pull ups. Then three, then four, until you get to 10 pull ups. Then descend down from 10, to 9, to 8, etc. So there is "some" rest in between - very little, usually only 2-25 seconds depending on the amount of reps. It's definitely harder to do on your own imagining someone else pulling up while you're resting but you get the idea. Eventually it gets tiring and goes from a strict pull up to a kipping pull up which requires momentum and full body motion but ultimately a pull up regardless.

Tubbs - Yes, hootin' and hollerin' was definitely in order but around us, not so much of that going on. I just can't stand when your up there bowling and you can hear other teams next to you literally "rooting" against you. But hey, I guess it's fuel for the fire right?
