Another .4 pounds down since yesterday...Woo Hoo!!!!

I haven't been this low since September of 2011. I have to be at 199.5 by July 5th when a friend I haven't seen in a long time comes to town. That is about 3.5 pounds per week so I have my work cut out for me.

Riding my bike without fail at least 4 miles (I rode 7 yesterday) has made a big difference in both kick starting my metabolism and calming down the hunger pangs. Now I have to get my resistance training into high gear and not be stupid about it like in the past where I am going great, push it too hard and then have a 2 or 3 month setback because I hurt myself.

I work every day to some degree so TGIF for you guys and girls!
235.0 lb Lost so far: 34.0 lb.    Still to go: 70.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Congrats on your weight loss. You're doing great! I have no doubt you'll reach your weekly goals. Reach for the moon, because even if you miss, you'll land among the stars! :) Keep up your exercise, because it's important. Give weightlifting a try. TGIF!

Puhpine, I don't mind an Fword put in the appropriate context. Thanks to the rest of you for the support and ChristyLA, I do the weight training and believe this is what really boosts the metabolism but as I said, I go at it way too hard. About a month ago I strained a chest muscle and had to let it heal. Since most of the upper body muscles are connected in a way, I couldn't really to do arm exercises without pain. But it looks like I'm pretty much healed so today I will consider it my first weightlifting day but, won't be a maniac again...so I tell myself.
