My weight is not going down, but I'm not worrying about it. I'm intensely lifting weights and swimming hard. I think I'm adding muscle. I don't know the proportion of muscle gained to fat lost, but I can see the difference in my body, acquaintances have made comments on the change, and even my wife noticed.
I measured my body fat at the YMCA last week. The trainer told me the machine they use is notorious for measuring more fat than other machines and methods. Anyway, my fat percentage of body weight was 20.
The important thing is to use it as comparison next time I have my body fat measured using the same device.
