Guess I didn't do so well while I was on vacation. Even though we did walk about 30 miles in 12 days and swam a ton, the weight still crept on. I know I was holding alot of water the last couple of days since I could barely budge the rings on my fingers, but now that we have been home a couple of days I have lost 4 lbs of that.
I found it extremely difficult to eat healthy on vacation, not because I didn't want to, but I have a hard time understanding when you ordered broiled fish and you ask what the vegetable is that they serve with it they answer "FRENCH FRIES!!!" Salads were iceberg lettuce and maybe a sliver of cucumber.....NASTY! So, enough ranting about that and my own disappointment over the weight gain. I am happy to be home, cooking healthy again, journaling and back on track to bring further health my way in 2011.
One thing I do know is that I had been able to increase my power walking up to just over 4 miles with some short running sprints thrown in for good measure. I would never have been able to do that if I had not quit smoking just over a year ago and been able to drop about 20 lbs in the last 6 months.

So...for all that I am grateful! I will be catching up on everyone's journals this weekend to see what I missed while I was gone. Hope everyone had a great holiday.

Did I fall asleep and miss a year? Success in 2012? LOL! What happened to 2011? I don't know about you but I am hoping for much success in 2011. And I wish you much success in 2011 too. And don't fret too much about your vacation gain. Vacations can be quite challenging. You'll get it done!

You were on vacation, and my perspective is you did very well:) We missed you and hope you had some enjoyable time away and welcome back to fatsecret where we support each other and lose because we are winners no matter what we gain or lose because we learn, learn, and learn! TOWANDA!!
