Just lost my head this week. But I have to stop doc told me to watch my fats my cholesterol was 122 which is not really bad but she told me my meds for my thyroid could raise it so I have to watch what I eat. Gonna stay home this week and clean my carpet, anybody wanna help...LOL
258.6 lb Lost so far: 4.4 lb.    Still to go: 78.6 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I got rid of my carpets for just that reason. When we pulled the old carpet up in a used trailer we bought the bottom of it was stained with what I suppose was animal wee-wee. And the floor was full of really fine silt that the vacuums just can't pull out of it. I had asthma a lot and we got tile put down and it really help with the allergies. My cholesterol was a bit elevated this last time, but according to all the Low carb advocates it will come down even eating more meats. We'll see with the next test which will be in Oct. Ok is that not backwards I thought you were suppose to cut down on the meats. I try and clean mine at least every other month cause we do have indoor pets but i'm running a little now. Gonna be a little cooler this week but not by much so I wanna get more done as I can't tolerate the heat. We also own a mobile home and it is time to power wash the outside again. Here in the south you tend to get mold on the outside.

Try lower fat meats like chicken without skin/breading and fish to bring down your cholesterol. If you want to eat beef or pork try the cuts that contain the word "loin". Those are the ones that are better for you. I also have high cholesterol that I am supposed to be lowering. My siblings are on meds for cholesterol so one gave me all her information on how to lower your counts. Smart balance is also awesome stuff according to my sister. I am still learning and haven't had it tested since April...when I started this journey. Good luck!
