Well the weight gain from my big cheat night seems to have come off now... still not off the coffee... it's like since I lost weight drinking it I gave myself permission to have it???? Someone tell me why I'm wrong... I know I can't be right because it feels so much like cheating but it's not stopping me from losing weight but I'm concerned about the fact that I crave one every day.
250.5 lb Lost so far: 66.5 lb.    Still to go: 50.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Coffee?? Did someone mention coffee??? Lol, I love my coffee especially this time of year. I often add cream and a bit Hershey's Natural Cocoa to it. Yummmmm. Was there some reason you're not suppose to have coffee, Myree??

mmmmmmmmmmm coffee!! I'm with ya! I think we eat so much salty foods so when we drink coffee, it feels like desert! well it does..to me :D I worry too, because i crave (quite a few) cups a day. I drink french vanilla flavored coffee and add french vanilla or hazelnut splenda to it and it's absolutely divine! I've even gotten to the point where i can skip the cream lol. Oh and when it's really cold outside, i want coffee..not hot cocoa..for some reason. mmm coffee!!! hahaha So people say that coffee stalls but i absolutely have no idea. I really doubt it! As long you count your carbs for the splenda and coffee, i think you are good to go! Oh and in my case, i limit myself to 2 or 3..or else i'll be up all night and i think too much coffee actually can be a bad thing lol. So enjoy that mug of coffee! *raises my mug* cheers! ;)

Well the coffee isn't bad it's the 2-3 cups of half and half that are in it LOL. My calculations tell me a 24 oz Breve is about 631 calories or more depending on how much syrup is used...

Fortunately errr maybe unfortunately, I can drink dark coffee all day and still fall fast asleep. Of course that could be attributed to my fibro/cfs. I generally take mine HOT and VERY BLACK lol. Creams and sweeteners are more for "desert" or when I'm just not really hungry but need a quick snack. ..time for another mug! "cheers"

LOL I know it was part of a very high in calories breakfast this morning I guessed 2.5 cups of half and half this morning for my 24 oz sugar free chocolate and kahlua Breve! Mmmmm good but boy it sure limits the amount of food I can have the rest of the day!

I think I would rather have my calories as food rather than drink. Seems more satisfying.

I know Squiggs it's a terrible craving of a morning now! I wasn't craving anything till I had that first Breve! Now it's like I need to do induction all over again just to get rid of the cravings! Urgh I am really kicking myself!@

I have to admit Myree, I DO LOVE creeeeam. But then I'm also a big "whole" milk fan which is why I HAVE to limit myself. Sigh....

Myree, stay away from the Breve......make yourself coffee with the flavored Splenda, and some heavy cream...put it in a thermos and take it with you. Maybe whip it into a frothy bit of confection, add some reddi wip to the top, and your calories will be way less and just as satisfying! I have to say that I am like Ruby, I love my coffee, but thankfully I am not a flavored coffee drinker. I like coffee for coffee's sake...with a bit of cream. Hmmm, I think that I may need to make a new pot, right now! lol

Myree, is it the coffee you want or the sweetness? 2 cups of coffee only has 5 calories. I make a yummy morning shake of 2 cups of cold coffee, 1 cup of vanilla soy slender, 1 portion of EAS 100% whey protein powder all for 195 calories. I can drink iced coffee all year round so I love this. You could always have the coffee hot with the soy slender and leave out the protein powder and add some sugar free hot chocolate. I would stay away from the Breve's. Like Squigg, I would rather eat than drink my calories.

Yes that's what I like is the richness of the drink which is getting way to expensive and hard to balance out my calories! That's when I started drinking a protein shake in the morning was to substitute my coffee and now I'm having both...I'm just going to have to tough it out and cut the Breve out! It's going to be hard to do but it will only take 3 days then I won't be craving them anymore.

You can do it Myree, try the coffee with sugar free hot chocolate. I just had one and it is like a mocha! Nice and rich, might be a good substitute for you.
